I'm responding to the kiting death on June 7, 2005, of Michael Femrite,  &quot;Michael's Windsurf Shop&quot; on Caye Caulker.  I'm Michael's mother. I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. I was on the island the day following the accident.  I may have seen you in the crowd at his service.

I was search for Michael's web site and found you.  It did my heart good to see that he was recognized by this industry.  I'm hoping that anyone who kite surfs will be made aware of this type of accident.  I hope that you all will be able to learn something from this tragedy.   Please watch the winds carefully.

I loved my son more than anything in this world. He died doing what he loved!</description>
