wind last few days 15-20kn ENE
some nice steady breeze, a beautiful day. great kiting over the weekend then out in the waves windsurfing on a 5.3 this morning. 4-5ft faces so pretty nice. The lunch time lull just got johnny and I. Had gone out for another wave session but ended up slogging back. should pick back up later.

hurray some breeze over the last couple of days. not too much in the morning but it has been hot hot so up to 16-17kn in the afternoons. had a great kiting session yesterday on my 15m. should me more of the same today. Junior was out on one of the 6.5’s. Island is pretty quiet.
Picho was out on his 17m on Monday. loved the 5th line for stability, easy launching and recovery.
the weather man is saying that there is alot of slack pressure in the area…. or probably more correctly very little slack pressure. which ever it is it is hot and flat. Can hardly see the reef the waves are so small. Divers are having a ball. I think we have been transported into August. We have been getting a 10-13kn mid afternoon for an hour or so but most of the day and into the night it is hot and flat (excuse the repeats). Helped Picho set up his 17m Kite with a 5th line yesterday, although he didnt get out as he had go BBQ. Looked on line to see if anyone else is getting breeze and all is quiet in the caribbean.
Well, Salvador got a bit of a beating from Adrian but we havent had much at all. It picked up a little yesterday afternoon then SE today at just about 10Knots. No rain so far and sunny skys. Should be able to get out on my 15m and big directional later for a cruise.
Well Adrian (the TS) is still coming this way and blocking all the breeze. Yesterday was great for the sail boats, today is over cast and threatening rain (we are hoping for this as it has been soo dry) Junior is getting on and practising his teaching skills and Gabriel is now onto the revo and getting his tacks down.
wind maxed out at about 10 knots yesterday, but turned into a lovely day. All the divers and snorkelers were happy. Today we are looking at this Tropical storm over in the Pacific that is predicted to come this way….. very strange. Still it will bring breeze, predictions are for 20+ over friday and the weekend. should also bring some nice waves.
have been wanting to start a daily report on the windsurfing sailing and kiting here in Belize for a while. Have finally got round to it. Hope to be able to get on most days to report on the wind and general activity etc.
Today not much wind this morning 5 or 6 knots from the NE. looks like we might get some much needed rain. wind should pick up this afternoon. Am booked for kiting and windsurfing lessons so I hope so. Should be good for the Hobie sailboats which are so easy to sail.
