Had a good day today. usual wind first thing then in the late afternoon. maxing out at at around 16kns but a beautiful day. Got a couple of people up riding on the kite for the first time which was great.
Other news hope to get the weather station here and installed in the next couple of weeks. Going to put it on top of the Holiday Hotel so we can measure wind from all directions. Will link it up to this site so everyone can see whats going on.
Well the season seems to have started.
15 -25kn since saturday. Onshore to start and has now moved cross or cross off. waves are also picking up. my shoulders are starting to ache from too much kiting and windsurfing.
Business is also picking up, island is getting busy. seem to be getting some of the flow that would have gone to Mexico.
The trades are back. hurray.
since the weekend the westerlies are gone. we are back to our ne’s onshore. We had some great sessions round on the lagoon but you cant beat an on shore or cross onshore breeze.
winds have been maxing out at 17, 18kn and a bit gusty but no complaints.
